First Witch's Diary--------------------------------------------------------Time Written: Before the Tragedy of Macbeth

________________________________________________________________________By Jack Wu
18 February 1606

The stage is set in cauldron bubble; the missing ingredient is a thane in trouble. Who to play the role better than impressionable Macbeth, whose tragedy will ultimately end in death. God can’t protect Macbeth now. Mark! Mark! He shall live under a spell forbid. The realm of supernatural! I call upon you! Embrace my body with all your wisdom; fill me with your sorcery to make the situation slippery. I will water the large seed of ambition buried inside Macbeth. It’ll grow through his head and he’ll be dead. A little prophecy to Macbeth it will inspire, to defy heaven with his insatiable desire. The thane of Cawdor will be my treat, but King of Scotland will be his to defeat. By placing this temptation in his mind, I shall lead Macbeth to his own destruction. His weaknesses which do seem natural will betray him in deepest consequence. With my deceiving apparitions, Macbeth shall feel supremely confident of his future with false hope. As such, before his death, a chance to live given by his kinsman, Macduff, will be missed. When Lady Macbeth is in despair, I shall take the form of evil air and it’s her who I’ll ensnare. His wife shall be under my control. All her feminine qualities will be stripped. I will manipulate her to pressure Macbeth to make my plans come to fruition. Let darkness fall upon Hecate’s eyes to mask the treachery I will commit. All three sisters round and round, chanting predictions that are bound. Fair is foul and foul is fair. Hover through the fog and filthy air. Come, Macbeth if you dare, for you will witness my mesmerizing glare.

This video demonstrates the deception of appearances. Even the most innocent actions, such as singing a song, can have malicious intent underneath.

Second Witch's Diary-----------------------------------------------------Time Written: After Macbeth Murdurs Duncan

__________________________________________________________________________By Arjun
19 February 1606

Yes! Fair is foul and foul is fair, indeed! Macbeth has taken the first bite of the poisonous apple, which will spell his own doom! In no time he will have to kill others who might pose a threat to him. What a fool! He actually believes that our other prophecy is false, and that the crown will never be taken off his own head! But in the end, he will not be the only one who will suffer. Nothing good comes of being head over heels in love with yourself! Hecate will be very, very pleased with us, for we have just lit a candle which will soon scorch many. I feel like a very accomplished hag, because in addition to setting Macbeth on a path of treachery, I also killed a sailor because of his rump- fed wife’s gigantic mouth. And as if I couldn’t get any luckier, I found a pilot’s thumb as well! Macbeth has no chance of returning to his normal life, because he cannot read the signs. Never mind that the murder has made waves on his own world! He should know that what he did was the wrong thing to do, at least according to his standards. Nature is sympathizing with King Duncan’s murder; two horses have even eaten each other! At the moment he seems very guilty of the crime which he has committed, but I can tell that in the future he will be on a never ending murdering spree! Oh, these are the golden ages for us three!

Third Witch's Diary--------------------------------------------------------Time Written: After Macbeth Sees the Apparations

___________________________________________________________________________By Bala

21 February 1606

Fair is foul, and Macbeth is a fool. He was no doubt our easiest victim. Banquo on the other hand was, too intelligent, so he had to be taken care of. It was amazing at how easily we won over Macbeth’s trust. Even to the point where he killed his dear best friend Banquo, for us. It was … generous, of Macbeth. Well we did add in that lie that Banquo’s sons will be king. Our knowledge ran through his mind in shock, and then our lies made him wonder. We have him wrapped around our fingers. Our words lure him to believe our every word. We had the foulest of intentions with the “prophecies” that we have given that foolish Macbeth, but Hecate was not pleased with our actions. It was not like the time, just us sisters, and got to release hell’s pets to meddle with Macbeth’s foolish mind. These apparitions were really hell-risen, let us see the actions taken by foolish Macbeth. Gullible as a babe we can rule over all favoured good. Foul is fair, and Macbeth is a fool.

Three Witches' Diary---------------------------------------------------Time Written: After Macbeth's Death

_____________________________________________________________________By Hassan Islam
23 February 1606

Macbeth was the only fool, why would he possibly believe us, the darkest creatures of all come around to tell him his fate and he believes this will come to him without price. Oh he thought wrong and now he lies with a dead body and a head ripped right off his neck as Macduff had said “Hail, king! For so thou art: Behold where stands the usurper’s cursed head.”( Act V, Scene 8, line 54 -55). He was easy to fool and we barely did anything, the darkness of ambition was already planted in him and all we had to do was water it. Macbeth knew the truth yet he had no fear for what was coming which lead his demise. The apparitions had warned him plenty. The first apparition warned him of the Thane of Fife, the second had said “The power of man: for none of woman born shall harm Macbeth”(Act IV, Scene 1, line 80-81) and the third had gave him the final clue , “ Macbeth shall never be vanquish’d be until Great Birnam wood to high Dunsinane hill shall come against him.”(Act IV, Scene 1, Line 92-93). A fitting end to Macbeth those who trust us, soon learn that “fair is foul, and foul is fair”(Act 1, Scene 1, line 11), now come my friends let us hover through the fog and filthy air.
